Big girl, Daddy's girls, games, and sea creatures

I was pulling off random pictures from the camera and thought I would put them all in one post! First off, my Mckenzie, sister bear is getting big. In the last couple of weeks she just seems so much bigger to me! Here she is chilling on the sofa like a big girl! :)
I hardly ever post pictures of Trev and the girls. He is not big on pictures and will hardly smile for them but I caught a good one of him. To bad the girls aren't looking. Anyway, I really enjoy watching him with them even though he doens't always do things right aka the way I want them! :)

I showed Sugie computer games and now she always goes to my computer and says, "my games" She doesn't operate the mouse very well but she does at least enjoy seeing Dora on the screen. :)
Sugie LOVES these little sea creature bath toys and lines them up on the edge of the tub each and every night. She knows the names to all of them. Sometimes she counts them too. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, ?, ?" Yes we need to work on the counting a bit because she only knows to 5 and then counts back down. :) HE he!
McKenzie is still so relaxed in bath time. It really cracks me up. I think she looks more like her own person in this picture instead of like Sugie. We are sort of a one bath stop now by giving the girls their baths at the same time. It seems before McKenzie was always asleep during Sugie's bath but lately has been awake. I can't wait until they can take baths together. Mckenzie better start learning the sea creature line up now!

My litttle, big helper

Bailey continues to love to help me all the time with McKenzie. She always is telling me "hold her" and would probably hold her more than I actually let her. If McKEnzie gets fussy and I start to take her away she says, "mine, mine"
She is Johnny on the spot with the suckie. If Mckenzie is crying then Sugie is trying to get her suckie for her. She also says, "What's wrong sister" and "It's ok sister"
Of course sometimes McKenzie is pefectly happy and content and Bailey starts trying to shove the suckie in her mouth anyway. :) Don't worry I am quick to rescue her before Bailey gags her out with the suckie

She also gives her a million kisses.
Bailey is also a big "help" with other house hold chores. She MUST help me with everything. Which is cute and all but sometimes I am in a hurry and I just want to be able to do it and not be bothered. I figure one day though Sugie won't want to lift a finger around here once she is able so I got lots of pics to show how helpful she used to be! HA!

Freezer Meal Group

I have wanted to start a freezer meal group for some time now and finally got around to getting it organized. If you aren't familair with a freeze meal group then what you do is get a group of 5 or so people together. THen you all make one or two meals for the whole group and then exchange. There are 5 people in my group and we all made one meal this time and then exchanged. So, now in my freezer are 5 meals that just need to be thawed and reheated. Yummy and quick and better than taking your family out to eat all the time. :) If you want to be in my freezer meal group just give me a shout and if you have an good freezable recipes let me know that too! I made Chicken Spaghetti this time. Hope everyone likes it. :)

Wow! McKEnzie is already 7 weeks! :) SHe has really seemed a lot bigger to me in the last week and I think she might be around 11 pounds if I had to guess.

SHe is really starting to stretch her body out more and not be so scrunched up except for when she sleeps She is also staying awake more. I didn't get too many smiles this week becuase I forgot to take her pictures during Sugies' naptime and of course soon I had....
little miss thang up in the pictures trying to help me out. :) HA!
I tried to get her to scoot over to get a better picture but this is the face I got from Sugie. Guess she wasn't in to me doing the monkey pics! :)

Arboretum

No, I didn't fall off the blogging planet I just had some computer issues! My old laptop has been on the fritz for a while and the last week got really bad so we just decided to get a new laptop! Yipee! ANyway, I will have to catch up over the last week. On Monday we went to the Arboretum with friends. We thought we had beat the Spring Break crowds but it was still a little crowded but we had lots of fun.
I can't remeber if I have blogged about my new stroller, but I did get a double jogger for the neighborhood, zoo and other trips like this. Mckenzie road around all morning totally relaxed and happy except for a little nap in the sling. Sugie also likes it and is happy when I don't strap her in and she can just get in and out freely.

Happy Mckenzie chilling out in the stroller.

THey had a petting zoo and bailey of course loved it. She petted the goats.

and a sheep

THere is one of the few pics I have of her face. I had to be sneaky to catch it!

Bailey's friend Fiona was there. I tried to get a picture with them looking but no chance. Of course 2 seconds after I put my camera away they did a cute hug! ;)

Bailey loved walking in the nice green grass

Looking at the tadpoles. She also removed and put back many pennies. Not sure if that is bad luck but if it is she is doomed! HA!

Bailey and the frog. When it gets warmer you can play in the water

Crepe Myrtle row

The theme at the moment is to have these castles all over. THis was the only one BAiley was really interested in because you could walk through it and then go around the outside and repeat!

OF course there were pretty flowers. I tried to get BAiley to pose but this is all that I got! :)

Most of our other friends left right after lunch but we walked around with Kai and his mom for a while. KAi and Bailey led the way. Here they are playing on the stairs. Of course Kai bent down as soon as I snapped the picture.

Maybe they will date one day! :) HA!

BAiley loved all the water and I am sure I will have my hands full this summer at the pool!

WE had a great time and look forward to going back again soon!

Pickin' weeds, water table, and streakin' in the neighborhood

This weekend we are trying to get our tiny lawn in order! HA! :) We are so thankful everyday to not have 2 acres of weeds to take care of! Anyway, of course even though our lawn is tiny we still had to find ways to entertain the peeps. So.....

We got out Sugie's water table! She actually got it for her birthday from my sister, Karen, but we put it away until Spring!
She loved playing in it and kept saying "water table" and it kept her entertained while I got some flowers planted and Trev got some weeds pulled.

I had Mckenzie relaxing in her car seat at first but I think it was too hot because she wasn't digging it. I can't find the cover to my bouncy seat so I got her set up in her swing on the porch.

She enjoyed the fresh air and a little snooze.

I tried to get Sugie to look at the camera but she will never cooperate and my camera is too slow! :)

Finally a picture of her face!

Now apparently Sugie got a little warm and decided clothes and diaper were totally optional! HA! Actually I think her shirt got too wet and she took it off and then proceeded with the rest of the clothes after that. :) It was actually time to go in so daddy could fertilize.

My little streaker trying to hide behind a bush. Lord help me this summer at the swimming pool! :)

6 weeks

Yes, I totaly droppd the ball on the 5 week monkey pics! This week she has really come to life and let out lots of faces. I dressed her up in her cowgirl in charge onsie to take a picture at the gentle zoo but then I totally dropped the ball on that too! I promise to get more pics of you my sweet Mckenzie! :)

Gentle Zoo

My friend Shelli suggested that we go to this place called the Gentle zoo today. They had lots of animals to pet, a train to ride, bounce houses, slides, and a giant sandbox. Bailey had a blast doing it all. She was a little unsure of the animals at time but evetually jumped right in to feed them.

Sugie is still confused at times about our routinue around here. This morning I told her that we were leaving and she was saying, "Marjorie's house". I told her that we wern't going there that we were going to this place with animals called the gentle zoo and she said, "Zoo please" hilarious!
The first animals we saw was the turtle.
THe lady came and took him out but Sugie was not intersted in touching him. She was more intersted in throwing rocks. Logan jumped right in though!

At first Sugie was a little afraid of the goats.

Then she tried to feed them rocks

So I got her some goat feed. They gave you the goat feed in ice cream cones. Good thing because you know how pesky goats are...they eat EVERYTHING!!

Sugie told the goats "snacks" and "yummy"

We saw a HUGE bunny!

Rode a mechanical horse...4 TIMES!

Logan liked the horse too!

The had a HUGE sandbox

Logan liked it too. Isn't he cute. I figure for a girlfriend he can either have Bailey as an older woman or McKenzie as a younger woman! HA!

I remember the days when I could get a picture of Sugie like I did Logan but now 1/2 my pictures looks like this!

She was digging for fossils

We had a great time! Thanks for inviting us Shelli and Logan!
