Small Town Christmas Tree Lighting

We went to our small town's Christmas Tree lighting tonight and the girls had a lot of fun!

They ran around and had a great time.  It was a nice evening.  Not too hot and not too cold!

Twist thought it was fantastic!

Especially since she found the cookies!

They had lighted sculptures all over it. :)  Hi there Sugie Bear!

Lets try that without a flash!

Checking out more lights!

Finally santa showed up on a fire truck and

they lit the tree!  It was a fun time!

Deck the Halls

When I put Bailey to bed after Holiday in the park on Friday I told her that we would put the tree up on Saturday.  So, the kids who is rarely up before 8 was waiting at the attic door at 7:15 a.m. to get the christmas decorations out.  I guess she remembered from last year that is where they belonged.

Christmas is going to be so much fun this year.  Bailey is so excited and asks me every night before bed if it is going to be Christmas, her birthday, or indoor water park after sleep time.  She is a mess!

She had so much fun hanging all the ornaments on the tree.  She cracked me up because she was decorating in groups.  Red ornaments over here, blue over here! HA!

She even had Daddy help her with some of the higher up ornaments too.

Sister thought it was pretty fantastic.  She has since been rearranging my tree on a daily basis!

Christmas morning is going to be INSANE!

So, glad that they are loving it! HA!

Doesn't our tree look lovely with all the ornaments grouped in one spot? HA!

Hey I am totally fine with that.  But here is the finished product after I made a few revisions.  The bottom of it will never be the same!

I made little trees for the girls out of tomato forms for their rooms!  They love them.  Mckenzie got purple lights even though they look sort of pink. (I have tried to turn this pic numerous times and I give up)

Bailey got pink lights but they look sort of red.  She plugs her tree in first thing in the morning!

I got the mantle done too! Love it all! :)

Holiday in the Park

The day after Thanksgiving we went to Holiday in the Park. I was so excited to go!  I knew the girls would just love it! :)

We got there right when it opened and went straight for the snowhill and I think may have been one of the firsts to go down it.  Bailey rode with Trev the first time and MCkenzie rode with me.

One run was enough for me though! HA!  So,Sugie went by herself a few more times and

Mckenzie rode with Trev.

We caught all the usual favorites too but I didn't really take pics of those.  I love to see the girls all bundled up enjoying Holiday in the Park like I did.  Hopefully Sugie will sprout by spring.  The girl is dying to ride some rides that you have to be 42 inches to ride and she is only 40 1/2. :(

Sisters and Friends

These 2 are pretty much always together these days excpet for when they are sleeping.  That may even be coming before to long because Bailey asks me if sister can sleep with her all the time.  Here they are feeding their pull toys cheez its.  They crack me up.  They really get along very well.  I mean they have their moments where they are about to kill each other but for the most part they work it out.  Unless they get violent or really angry and out of control I just sort of let them solve their own battles.

Twist even enjoys watching Sugie play her games.

Sweet sisters.  Yes, they rarely have clothes on.

Bailey is taking her temperature here.  Mckenzie plays the part of little sister pretty well and does whatever Sugie tells her to do.  :)

The toothfairy came to my MOMS club meeting last week. Bailey LOVED it!  It is so nice because Mckenzie will sit down and listen if Bailey is doing it.  A lot less work for this mommy!

I hope they stay the best of friends!

School Thanksgiving Feast

Bailey had her Thanksgiving Feast last week at school.  Sister and I joined her for the feast and it was a lot of fun!

Sister cracks me up because she always jumps in on the action like she is part of the class.

This was her little pumpkin that she made. It said that she was thankful for: my friends, playing at school, my toys, my sister, my babies, my mommy, playing with sister, my dress, my computer, and my house.  Glad to see I made the list!

Making their lists and checking them twice

Do you remember looking through catalogs when you were a kid?  I do but the days of looking through the catalog seem to be over until Christmas comes!

Bailey has marked up both the Target and Walmart Wish Books with all the things that she would like.  I have explained that they are just wishes and that she will not get everything.  I hope she understands.

Sister points out stuff too.  Bailey also circles stuff for her and says, "Mommy I will circle this for sister and she will share it with me!" HA!  They really are at the ages though where for the most part all the gifts could be for either one of them.  Should be a FUN christmas!

Halloween 2012

We had a great Halloween!  We started the day with a party with my MOMS club.  Sugie did some coloring.

Sister did some sliding

and some swinging

A few snacks

posed for some pictures

Sister bossed some little boys around

We did a little yard trick or treating

ate the candy

and took a picture with mommy!

Then a neighbor had a hot dog party but I didn't get any pictures of that.  OUr friends Bobby and Kelli were over with their boys so we did some trick or treating with them.  THey were right at our pace.  We have always been left in the dust by the neighborhood girls. :)  Here they are patiently waiting to go trick or treating

Brayden

Hunter

The girls with Audrey and Corinne!  I promise that Bailey had fun.  She did not take a nap yesterday though and was ready to GO! :)

Poor Jaime and Zachery.  He was not feeling well and missed out on the trick or treating.  Feel better Z!

Then they were off!  Sister stood back at the first house but she figured it out real quick!

Sugie showing me her candy

Brayden

AFter the first house sister was all about the trick or treating.  She would point to the houses with lights and would go up to the door and negotiate which piece of candy she wanted.  She was a mess.

Brayden and Bailey were the first to the door and probably each rung the door bell and knock on the door at each house a 15 times! Sorry people!

Sister stuffing her face

Sugie kept going strong the whole time.  She had so much fun!

Cute dog in her costume.  Perhaps I should make costumes for Duke and Gus next year? HA!
