Mckenzie turned 6 months old last week! I seriously can't believe how fast she is growing and that we are now inching closer to her first birthday! Anyway, Mckenzie here is what you are up to these days:
1) You wear mostly 6/9 month clothes and some 3/6 month clothes as well. You wear a size 2 diaper although when we are done with this box we are moving on to 3's. I guess you weigh around 15 pounds.
2) You are still happy most of the time and smile a lot. At times you can be really serious though despite people's efforts to get you to smile.
3) You are using rolling and a little scooting as means of transportation these days so that you can get over to your sister's toys. Bailey isn't really sure what to think about that yet but does a pretty good job of sharing with you.
4) You take 3 naps a day. Usually a small morning one a mid day nap and a later afternoon nap. You go to bed about 8 and sleep until about 7 with a snack usually around 3 am. Sometimes you wake up for a 6 am snack and then drift back to sleep and then snooze cuddled up with me until morning. You still sleep in your bassinet at night but I think you are going to have to move on from that because you barely fit! HA! I told your dad that we might stunt your growth like a potted plant if we leave you much longer. You do take pretty decent naps in your crib though and still sleep in your swaddle sacks.
5) You are really working hard on sitting but can only stay for about 5-10 seconds before you fall over.
6) You still love bath time and to be outside. Although it is so hot right now that we just sweat like monkeys if we are outside.
7) You really like to suck and chew on your fingers. I don't think there are any signs of any teeth yet though.
8) You really like to be entertained and to have toys. You can play in the exersaucer for a long time especially if your sister is helping entertain you.
9) You push up really good on your arms and can sort of scoot your self by pushing off with your toes. No signs of crawling yet though.
Stop growing so fast sister bear! We love you a lot and can't wait to see what the next 1/2 a year brings!
I finally got Mckenzie a little bath ring so that bath time would be easier. Bailey loves to take a bath with sister but we either had to put her baby tub in there, get in the tub, or hold on to her. Anyway, I found one I like don amazon and cashed in some swag bucks for a basically free little bath ring and it works great! 
Not a great picture but Bailey loves to play with her sister in the tub. She pours water on her and Mckenzie just laughs and watches her. Makes it easier on mom and dad at bath time too. I love moments like these when they can really do something together which is becoming more and more.
