Duke turned 9 on Friady, July 1st! I totally can't believe that he is getting this old even though his gray face tells me that he is! He is really the best dog in the world and I can't imagine life without him. :) He takes some abuse from Bailey but also loves her just the same and I think would protect her. Whenever the neighborhood kids push Bailey around on one of her cars he follows along right beside her! It is quite cute!
He likes to lay at the landings on the stairs. He actually did this a long time ago when Trev and I lived in a rent house with stairs. It seems like as soon as we moved in here he started that right back up! Happy 9th Birthday Duke! We love you lots and lots!
