9 month checkup

Bear had her 9 month checkup and is as healthy as a horse! She weighs 20 lbs 3 oz which is the 75% and is 28.5 inches long which is also the 75%. No wonder her milk belly hangs out in her 12 month shirts! HA! Anyway, she thought crawling around in the doctors office was just so much fun. She did not cry when they pricked her finger for a little blood for a hemoglobin test. She did get a flu shot and screamed plenty for that though! .:( Poor sugar bear. I was going to try and get a picture of her with the bandaid on her finger and thigh but I forgot before Trev gave her a bath. :(

Big Girl Toy

Like my new big girl toy? Mommy likes it too because she got it for half price at kid to kid!

I like it because it is easy to go from standing like this

To sitting and then onto my knees like this

Mom says this is my concentration face when I have my tongue to the side!

Thanks mom for the cool new toy!

9 months!

WOW! Holy cow Sugar Bear you are 9 months old today! I guess some would say you have spent more time out of the womb than in but since you spent closer to 10 months in the womb I wont say that! HA! I have learned you do everything on YOUR time not when I want you to! This is what you are doing these days:

1) I think you weigh between 20-21 pounds, wear a size 3 diaper, mostly 12 month clothes although now that we are entering the world of pants and shirts some are 18 months

2) You nurse (or take a bottle at sitters) about 5 times a day and eat about 3 2-3 ounce containers of food. You like pears, peaches, mango, sweet patato, carrots, green beans, peas and recenlty have started eating a little bit of chicken. I make your food for you except for the green beans and peas.

3) You are pro at eating puffs and will eat some small little pieces of food that I give you but you mostly think those are for playing with!

4) You take a couple of naps a day and sometimes a cat nap in the car on the way home from the sitters

5) You go to bed between 7 and 8 and get up around 6 or 7

6) You seem to bable about a lot lately and definelty have dada down but I don't really recognize any of the other words
7) You are crawling all over now and pulling up on things

8) You have lots of toys but seem to like to play with things you are not suppose to like cords and the basket of dog toys.

9) You still have no teeth and it doesn't look or appear any are coming in soon

10) You laugh all the time and sometimes we wonder what you are laughing at. You think Duke and any other animal for that matter is super hilarious!

11) You still love bath time and would spend hours in there if we let you

12) You love to be outside and to sit in the grass. Good think we live in the country for you to enjoy some fresh air.

13) You seem to be getting a lot more hair and it is a beautiful strawberry blonde like your daddy.

I love you so much and I love watching you grow! Only 3 more months until your first birthday!

The perfected crawl

My BIG Baylor Bear!

Holy cow! Doesn't she look just too big in that picture? I think that babies always look older in jeans but holy cow when I came into the living room with her standing up holding on to the coffee table I was like holy cow where is my baby?!?! She has pulled up in her crib but I had not seen her pull up on the coffee table yet so I was quite suprised and then the jeans...wow!

I took another picture so that you could see her whole outfit. I need to go shopping becuase these jeans and a few other pants are the only clothes she owns that aren't dresses! HA! I would never send my baby to the sitters in summer clothes when it is in the 50s in the morning! NOT ME!

Bailey and Karla

Who is Karla you might ask? You will see in the picture below but what I can tell you is that she has brown hair, I carried her around a lot when I was a kid and she has lots of stains all over her to prove it, I was so happy when I got her and they were very hard to find in the store, she has feelings no matter what anyone might say, and she is apart of my childhood and I am glad that Bailey has her now. So, blog readers and Bailey meet Karla.

Menu Monday

Monday - BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, salad (we didn't eat this on Friday last week)
Tuesday - Mexican Lasagna, salad
Wednesday - Jumbalya (we never had this from a couple of weeks ago)
Thursday - Leftover mex lasagna
Friday - Pizza (actually i am not sure about this day, I am putting down pizza but we might just eat some leftovers or some meal that got pushed around. I am finding that some things pop up and cooking dinner when I need to get somewhere is not always happening so we end up eat leftover or a sandwich or something. So, I am saying frozen pizza for now and we might start playing Friday by ear)

Mimi and Poppy

Hello its Bailey here! Mimi and Poppy came to visit me today and my mommy finally remembered to take a picture. I am glad that they come and see as often as they do. Mommy always forgets to take pictures so we remembered this time. My poppy makes me laugh and holds me tight and Mimi makes me laugh too and played horsey with me. Thanks for coming to visit! :)

Balloon Festival

We ventured out to the Plano Balloon Festival on Saturday evening. The weather was wonderful! I have been to the festival before but have either missed the balloons taking off or the weather did not permit them to take off. So, this year I convinced Trev to attend a festival and I finally got to see them take off!

Before the balloon launch some skydivers flew in

and one was carrying the american flag

and 2 ballons "held" a flag

There were lots of balloons in all shapes, colors, and sizes

This one was one of my favorites

They flew right above us and we could see all inside

Of course, we had the cutest baby there and enjoying sitting on a blanket on the lawn

Bailey watched the balloons some but had some hard practice in standing in crawling because we were sitting on a pretty steep hill.

One of her favorite things was picking and playing in the grass.

Cute little feet

See what I mean....cutest baby there!

or mabye the craziest!

Mr. Suckey came in handy as she got tired but she still watched the balloons and fell alseep on the way home! It was a great little festival!

38 weeks

Wow I totally slacked off and never got monkey pics taken last week! Anyway, here is the bear at 38 weeks. As you can see happy as ever!

Almost falling off the couch now!

She still really wants to get that monkey!

And she wants to get me and the camera too! :)

Smallest, cutest, biggest fan

Bailey enjoyed this rainy afternoon by watching her first cowboy game! I think she enjoyed it!

Doing her stretches!

Of course when you are a small fan its hard to stay awake for the whole game when it interferes with nap time.
P.S. I know that she doenst match. :)

We have a crawler

Yep you read it Bailey crawled tonight! I wouldn't say she has really mastered it but it is none the less a crawl! She was actually doing it better before I got out the camera and then I ran out of time because the battery died. Oh well I am sure there will be many more crawling oppurtunities! I am off to baby proof the house! Ha! P.S. I didn't get monkey pics taken today..I think this is way better though. I will get it done tomorrow!

My true hunter man

Trev declared he was interupting the menu and cooking smoke dove meat with cream cheese and jalepano wrapped in bacon for dinner. He said the storm was blowing the other way...guess he was wrong. However, the dove was awesome...spicy....but awesome!

Hangers, Bear stance but no crawl

I love hangers...

doing my bear stance...

but I can not quite crawl! :)

My 32nd year in Review

Shortly after my 31st birthday last year we saw Bailey for the first time in a 3D sonogram

We then went through fall about our normal routinue of camping...

...and watched my belly grow and enjoyed baby showers

My belly grew more and more and we got anxious about meeting Bailey

Somewhere in there we bought this piece of land

And watched my belly grow some more.

Enjoyed Thanksgiving with Family

Then waited through Christmas for Bailey to let us know she was ready to be born

Finally on Christmas Day I went into labor with Bailey! I labored many hours without drugs and would do it again...

Of course the epidural was nice too....Trev could have used one though

Then the best event of my LIFE so far Bailey Marie was born!

She was so beautiful and I could hold her all day long!

I spent the rest of year watching Bailey grow and other friends have babies too!

I love Bailey so much and the rest of my 32nd year was wonderful watching her get bigger and change everyday!

I taught Bailey many things including using Facebook and Blogging!

She is just so cute!

We found a perfect bluebonnet patch and took one of our first family pics!

This summer we took Bailey to the beach
and to enjoy her first fire works show on the 4th of July

Then to Colorado to wrap up the summer and start another school year
So, as you can see my 32nd year has been great! It is going to take a lot to top this past year! Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes yesterday! It was the pefect ending to a great year!
