Thanksgiving 2008

We had a wonderful thanksgiving with family. We had lots of yummy food at my sisters and went to visit Gramps at his house. We were thankful he was awake, alert and in a great mood and said he had been waiting on us. We played at the park nearby and my sister of course was on cue for a perfect picture oppurtunity in the fall leaves. Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. Above is our family portrait at 37 1/2 weeks. I think Bailey enjoyed some amniotic turkey. :)

And then there were 4....

Back in July I posted that 3 out of my 4 bridesmaids were pregnant! Well Missy just couldn't resist and is having baby #3 in July (she is pregnant with baby #1 in the pic). Anyway, everyone is doing well and we are all awaiting on our arrivals. As you know Bailey will be here in the next few weeks....Jenna (far left) will be having a girl, Brooklyn, in February...Catharine on my left will be having her baby in March and doesn't know the sex, althought she swears it is a boy....Missy will have her baby in July and who knows what it will be...maybe a boy this time?

37 weeks Bailey doing great...not done cookin yet! :)

I had a doctor's appointment today and Bailey is doing great! The appointment was uneventful so not much to tell. Anyway, Bailey is not quite done cookin'. I say she has got several more weeks. My bets are still on the 20th. I guess we will see! What do you think? Looking forward to tomorrow and eating lots of food!

Baby Shower

I had a wonderful shower on Sunday and Bailey is pretty much set on most everything that she needs! We had a fun time and I thought I would share a few pictures. My photographer aka Melody my sister was feeling a little ill so she only took like 45 pics instead of 245. :) So, I did miss getting Jenna and her cute baby bump and Kelly with her 15 individually wrapped presents! Thanks so much to Melody, Karen, and Julie for giving me such a wonderful shower! :)

36 weeks...Bailey doing great! :)

I had my 36 week doctor's appointment and Bailey is doing great. My midwife said that her back is on the left which is the optimal position for her to be in becuase usually when babies are in this position they will drop nicely into your pelvis. I had my Strep B test and I am hoping that comes back negative so that I will not have to have antibiotics before delivery as I am wanting to avoid an IV. I still feel really good, other than a little bit of an achy pelvis from time to time, so I really can't complain. Here is a pic from my shower on Sunday. I don't really like the pic but here you go anyway.

Sunbonnet Sue - Special Gifts for Bailey

Bailey recieved a special gift from Trev's grandma (granny) and aunt today. It is a beautiful quilt made just for Bailey. Granny put the quilt together and Becky did the quilting. It is hard to really caputre how beautiful it is and the detail of the quilting with the camera but thought I would share. It means a lot to me since I do not have any grandma's still alive and therefore Bailey only has 1 surviving great-grandma. :) Anyway the quilt is titled sunbonnet Sue. When you come and visit remind me to show it to you.

34 (almost 35) weeks and doing GRRReat!

I had a doctor's apointment yesterday and everything is going along great and Bailey is good and healthy. I am also still feeling good and school is keeping me busy and making the time fly by. I am glad to have finished my 5th and final season of football as the cheer sponsor. I have posted a picture at everyone's begging and pleading. I guess I don't really like to take pictures of myself and that is why I haven't been keeping up with them through the pregnancy. Anyway, here you all go! Your wish has been granted. Here I am 34 weeks and 5 days prego. :) Only about a month or so until Bailey is here. I promise lots of pics then. Of course of her though not me. :)
