Holy cow! I haven't posted in forever! It seems like we have either been sick or had somewhere to be almost every day and I haven't been taking pictures excpet for with my cell phone. My Moms club also hosted a bunco fundraiser to benefit the Rainbow Room of Rockwall so many evenings I was off finishing up stuff with that. The fundraiser went really well and we were able to raise almost $1600 for the rainbow room. Thanks to everyone who helped!
At the end of January my neighbor Jaime was having a service project for the kids at the school that she teaches at. They were going to the retirement center and making valentines and playing games with the residents. Her girls thought Bailey would think it was fun so we went and she loved drawing pictures for them and wanted to give them away.
She also helped put a puzzle together. It was a fun thing for just me and her to do.
One day we went to the Indoor Safari Park. We had been a long time ago when sister was a baby. This time they were both running around and we pretty much had the place to ourselves so that was nice! They played on all the tunnels and slides.
Took a train ride
Sister thought it was prety fun!
Sister rode on a giraffe and
Sugie rode on an elephant.
Right after sisters birthday she was pretty sick with a cold or something. Poor baby had a high fever and felt pretty miserable for a few days.
We went to a Super Bowl party at the end of January. So thankful for pinterest and there great ideas.
The adults hung out downstairs and the kids played upstairs. It is so nice that sister is to the point where she will run off and play instead of hanging on me.
Sugie insisted on making all of our valentines for her class. She worked really hard on them for 4 days. The girl loves to draw and has already passed me up in her drawing ability!
ME and my Sugie. I have been trying to spend some one on one time with her. Mckenzie still needs my attention more plus she has alone time with me while Sugie is at school so sometimes I feel like she Sugie gets the short end of the stick in my attention. I can't believe that in another year and a half she will start kindergarten. I can't imagine being away from her for so long. She loves going to school but I don't think she is ready to go for 5 whole days. She will just be going for 2 days next year.
We have had some really beautiful weather and when it is nice we spend most of the afternoon hanging outside.
Bailey loves to pick out her outfits. If she is going to school I try to sway her in a certain direction but the other days I don't really care. Here is the cute outfit she put together one day. :)
Me and her went to a birthday party at a bounce house. She waited in line forever to get her face painted.
She got a pretty butterfly.
Then smeared it all over!
Bailey started soccer practice. So far she is really liking it but needs some practice. :) Most of the other kids on her team played in a the fall so they have a leg up on her. She doesn't seem to notice and is loving it.
Sugie's handy work. I can always count there to be a few pictures in my phone taken by Bailey. :)
I have started trying to be better about exercising. This is how my view looks. Bailey way up ahead and me pushing sister in the stroller. I love to walk when the weather is nice so it is a win/win right now.
My exercise partner. :)
My sister Melody sent the girls some cute outfits for their birthdays. Bailey wanted to put them on right away so they could be "pretty ballerinas" Thanks Melody and Kesley for keeping an eye out for such cute outfits!
Bailey school is keeping this second semester spiced up by having dress up days. Tuesday they ahd to wear red, white and blue and had a patriotic parade. We had to warm up her summer dress!
This pretty much sums up school mornings. I swear sometimes there might be a camera watching me and the cirucs that is getting these monkeys out the door. Getting them all buckled in their car seats is a work out in itself. Moms of many young kids for sure spend a lot of time buckling and unbuckling kids from their car seats.
I didn't go to the parade at school but my friend Courtney sent me this picture. I think that Bailey had a lot of fun!
Today when we were getting ready to leave the house sister some how hit her head on the downstairs banister. I did not see how it happened but she appears to have hit it pretty hard.
She cried and cried and gave me quite the scare but is fine now. Well, except that she looks like a creature on star trek. We were on our way to a mom bible study where she goes to child care which is her least favorite thing. I joked with a friend that perhaps she was injuring herself to avoid childcare. She lucked out today and didn't have to go.
So, hopefully that catches us up for a while. I hate not having pics for when I print my blog book so I will try to be better!
