Sugie's 5th Birthday Party

My Sugie bear is 5! She had very specific instructions for her birthday party this year! She wanted a swimming, princess party! Ummm....kid you have a winter birthday! HA! We booked it at the natatorium and were set.  She also made a list of who she wanted to invite! Cracked me up.  She had never been so specific of who she wanted to invite!

She is such a little fish.  She became such a good swimmer last summer that I wasn't sure if she would remember after such a long break but she jumped in and remembered right away and was diving to the bottom again.

Christmas 2013

The weeks leading up to Christmas and Christmas itself were so exciting this year.  Bailey was beyond excited and Mckenzie was also excited!  They both seemed to really know what was going on and we had a lot of fun with the elf.  We tried to give back to the community this year and do less presents.  It is so hard because for some reason I want to buy these little monkeys of mine things even though they have a million things.  In the end I think I did pretty good and we didn't over spend on Christmas.  They made it pretty easy on me because their big santa gifts cost me together less than $30! HA!

Checking out their stockings!

Lip gloss!

The girls with their santa presents.  Sugie got an easy bake oven and Mckenzie got stars that project on the ceiling!

They were both pretty happy with all of their gifts!

Sugie cooking with the easy bake oven.  Oh lord please let this phase be short.  This thing makes me nuts! HA!

My sister and her kids came over on Christmas.  Always a good time for a family couch pile.

Mimi opning her presents.

Twist opening presents from cousins

My mom got both girls Target Brand American Dolls.  They have sort of become my 3 and 4th child.  HEre is Sugie with Rosie.  It is so hard to believe that 5 years ago at the end of Christmas day labor had started for her to be born!

In the afternoon we went to the candelight service at church.  Sugie was very excited about going to big church.

Me and my Sugie! We left twisty in the nursery! She would have been a mess!

Everything was so pretty and seeing a room full of 4500 candles lit is pretty cool.

Santa 2013

I took the girls to see Santa today at Bass Pro.  This is the free picture! Not so great but at least no one is screaming!

The girls talking to the reindeer as we wait in line.

We didn't have to wait to long but we did manage to get in some dancing.

and laughing

Then they climbed up on his lap.  Sugie told him that she wants a "real kitchen that makes real food"

By far my favorite picture of the day.  Mckenzie told him she wanted "stars" Santa was very confused....what she wants is this little bug that projects stars on your ceiling as you go to sleep.  Bailey has one and she wants one for her room.

Then we did a little driving and had a little lunch.

The the girls played in the sandbox and I enjoyed the sun and the view.  It was a fun day!

Santa through the years...

2009...shoeless Sugie

2010....Sugie

2011...Mckenzie didn't cry that year.  I don't know why her eyes are closed! HA!

2012....of course last year was the classic year! HA!
