Trick or Treat 2013

I had 2 Tinkerbells this year for Halloween!

It was Sugie's idea and of course Twist followed suit.

Sugie is pretty sure that she can fly.  When I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up she used to say, Teacher.  But now she often says Tinkerbell or someone who can fly!

We had a neighborhood cookout first.

Then all the kids were ready to go!

Sugie ran with the big pack of girls for the most part.

Lets go get more!

Sister and Zachary actually went into this ladies house until we taught them the trick or treating ropes.

They got the easy way around the neighborhood just chilling in the stroller.  WE even rolled them up to the door a few times.

Sister and her CANDY!

After we got the girls to bed this man came out! He went out to try and scare some teenagers and he said he did a pretty good job.  Might become a Halloween tradition! HA!

Church Fall Festival

Before Halloween we went to the Fall Festival at our Church. Trev was out of town and the girls and I had a blast.

They love riding rides so much!

Getting Pierced!

Sugie got her ears pierced a few weeks ago.  This was totally her idea! She has actually asked on and off for the last year.  It started last year when a little friend at school got her ears pierced.  She came home talking and asking about it.  When I told her that she could have hers pierced too but that it is sort of like getting shots in that it hurts for a bit and then it is over.  She decided, "I will wait until I am bigger.

Then a few weeks ago she started asking about it again.  I reminded her that she could have it done but that it would hurt like a shot but instead of saying she wanted to wait she asked about going to have it done every day.  So finally we took her after church.  She held the bear they gave her but turned down the sucker. The girl who did it did a great job.  Her little assistant girl told Bailey that it didn't hurt but Bailey assured her that her mom already had told her that it indeed would hurt but just for a little bit.  Got some strange looks on that one!

Then both workers got their "gun" ready and then...

shot the earings in.  Trev captured a pretty true description of what it feels like! She acted like she might cry but then realized the pain was over.

I put the cleaning "magic" solution on and she was good to go.

She was so proud of herself! Good job Sugie you are such a big girl!

Proud of her new earings!

Awana

Sugie is doing Awana this year at church and is really loving it.  They play lots of games and learn bible verses.

They have a theme usually every week and she is enjoying dressing up.  One night it was crazy hair night.  She also has a vest that she earns patches.  She has earned 2 patches but I need to get them sewn on for her.  She memorizes the verses really well and has actually retained quite a few of them from week to week.  One week it was "All have Sinned" she kept saying "God has sinned" SHe was cracking me up!

One night it was cowboy night.

One night was polka dot night so she wore a polka dot dress and then we put dot stickers on her face.

So, naturally this is what her coloring sheet looked like! Girl cracks me up!

Perot Museum

Early in September we went to the Perot Museum and it was AWESOME! If you life in DFW and haven't been yet you must go!  It is a bit pricey but a friend got me in our pass so we jut had to pay parking! Woo hoo!

There is so much to see and do that we got there at 10 and didn't leave until 4:30.  Mckenzie didn't have a nap and just kept going and going!

The little children's area downstairs was pretty cool but there are floors and floor of exhibits too see!

Sugie on the water current earth.  One of their favorite things was the earthquake simulator.  I was being shook too much for a picture!

Sugie opening the giant crystal

Making a ball path

Dancing

This was one of my favorite things.  You put on 3D glasses and then watched a bird flying.  It felt like you were really moving like the bird.

The girls thought it was pretty awesome!

Mckenzie's hand vs. dinosaur imprint. :)

It was a super fun day and we can't wait to go back!
