Bailey started cheer this year and it is just the cutest thing you could ever see! She is on a squad with Pre-K and Kindergarteners. 

 

 

Twisty thinks that she is a little cheerleader too! :)

 

 

These pictures were taken at our first game and the weather was so nice.  Last week we about wilted and died!

 

 

She loves the megaphone and over uses it just a tad! HA! Before the first game started she said, "Ladies and Gentlemen I give to you your cheerleaders" She is a mess!

I don't think I ever got the video posted here of Sugie learning to swim back in May but she has come so far since then.  I have been on SERIOUS watch all summer at our community pool because it is so big and thus hard to get to the side.  However, over the last few weeks she has realized how to take breaths better and is now swimming clear across the pool.  It is a junior Olympic pool! So proud of her!

 

 

She has also learned how to dive down and can even swim underwater pretty good.  She for sure wanted to be a mermaid and I think has succeeded! Way to go Sugie!

Roller Sisters

 

We went with my moms group to go roller skating! The girls literally skated until they could no longer stand up!  This was sisters first time and she did really well!

 

 

This was Sugie's second time skating.  Her wheels were a little looser this time and she did really well and was happy to show twisty the ropes.

 

 

When I told her the day before that we were going to go she wanted to go to be right then even though it was 2 in the afternoon so that the next day would come!

 

 

There were quite a few daycare kids there and they were all over Mckenzie wanting to help her.  She of course let them know, "Get away!" HA! They were all worried about her and several times I heard someone say, where is this girls mommy? HA!

As the afternoon went on the girls love of hip hop music came out.  Sugie was busting a move and the older kids thought it was pretty funny! Go Sugie!

 

It was a fun day for sure!

Water Park Time!

 

Took my little fish to a little city water park by my sisters house in Hurst. The girls had a blast and this little park was fantastic! Perfect for young kids!  The life guards were great and the kids could ride all the slides there.

 

 

Mckenzie was even able to go down the bigger blue slide and she loved it. 

 

 

It was for sure Bailey's favorite and she probably rode it 100 times. She was pretty proud of herself that she could slide down without a life jacket and swim to the side.

 

 

We had a fun time with Cousin Harper!

 

 

There were some smaller slides too.  They went really SLOW! HA!

We will for sure be going back next year.  If you are curious it is Central Aquatics Center in Hurst. 

They have these 3 little kid slides. 

 

 

Not a great picture but there is an activity pool and then a kids playground off in the distance.  the kids played on it some but they were mostly interested in the other stuff.

 

 

Of course there was the "big" blue slide that they all loved the most! It was a fun time! Thanks Aunt Karen and Harpie!

PCB - Sunset, Beach Pictures

 

Everyone knows that when you go to the beach you must take evening beach pictures! HA! However, when you have young kids it is quite a production and most of the pictures end up looking like the one above! HA!

 My bribes did seem to pay off though and we did get a few good ones

 

 

The sun was up a little too much in the beginning but we made the best of it.
