Halloween Take 1

We decided last minute to go to a little carnival down by the lake. I have put off buying anything for underneath Bailey's costume if it were cold so she sort of looks like a punky brewster fairy! HA! Anyway, we met up with some friends and had a good time and Bailey enjoyed running all around! P.S. I didn't notice until looking at these pictures but I think I might have her wings n upside down? I guess I will get it all figured out by Halloween

Sugie was mesmerized by the fountain

Although she soon though..."hmmmm...I think this is a swimming pool!"

Almost snuck a smile! :)

Running and running!

Kai and Bailey watching the sunset! Maybe they will do that when they are teenagers! :)

It was a beautiful evening!

Sugie really likes the wings of her costume! She wanted them on again when we got home and this is how she looked as she climbed the stairs for bed. Trev laid her down and I think he convinced her to take them off but I may just find a fairy in Sugie's crib in the morning! :)

Pumpkin Painting Party!

(P.S. I have no idea why everything is underlined. Blogger is giving me fits and I am too tired to mess with it)

My little Painter

Look at me!

"Go away" mom! (On a side note "go away" is one of the few phrases that Bailey says. It is what we say to Duke when he is begging for food, etc. I have tried to tell her that saying it to Duke is one thing but to people its not so nice! HA!)

Very serious work!

Bailey got a little Messy.....

but I do believe that Fiona took the prize! Perhaps she as preparing for a christmas party as santa.

No worries though. We tossed them in the tub!

The weather even cleared up enough for some fun outside and so we would have proof that we didn't have our kids naked the whole party! :)

24 weeks

I had my 24 week checkup and everything is going great. Sugie went with me and was really making me laugh at the office. She loves to go to see the fish in the big fish tank they have. Then she sat up on the exam table and downed a whole bananna. When my midwife came in she demanded to be picked up. It was pretty cute. Trev came too so we all got to hear little McKenzie's heartbeat. Sugie could still care less and my midwife was going to listen to her belly with the doppler but Sugie was not that interested in that! Silly girl! Anyway, here is the latest! I am off to bed...time...8:45! HA!

How far along? 24 weeks

Total weight gain? About 5 to 7

Maternity clothes? Mostly although I still wear normal shirts too

Sleep? Need more of it! HA! I am trying to figure out how I am going to sneak me a nap in the afternoon

Stretch marks? Hopefully no new ones! :)

Best moment this week? Listening to heartbeat today

Movement? Lots. McKenzie is pretty active most days.

Food Cravings? Nothing really strange lately

Labor Signs? Nope

Button in or out? In

What I miss: not having headaches

WHat I am looking forward to: Feeling and seeing the really big movements in my belly and seeing if Sugie notices

Fun Fest

We took Bailey to the "big" fair in RC. It was just perfect for sugie because all of the rides were little kiddie rides. I know she was having a the time of her life because she kept asking to ride more but I couldn't get one smile out of her. I think she was in carnival ride trance! Ha!

This was her favorite ride. I am pretty sure these whales were around when I was Sugies age! HA!
We ran into Bailey's friend Landon from the fair. She has been hanging with him at the sitters since she was a baby!

The train

The tractor train

Daddy loading Sugie into yet another ride!

Just in time for good weather!

Trev wanted to build us a table for our back patio as soon as we moved in. He quoted a time frame that we will say was somewhere less than what it actually took! HA! Remember the barn? Anyway, he got it finished with perfect timing to enjoy nice evenings having dinner on the patio! :) Thanks for my new table babe!

Ride Em' Cowgirl

Our neighborhood had its Fall Festival today and Sugie had a good old time. We didn't get there until the last 40 mintues because she was snoozin away so we almost missed it! She wanted to bounce in the bounce house first and so I let her and thought I would never get her out of there. She wanted to bounce and bounce. I tried to get some pictures but it was too hard. Anyway, I finally pointed out the horses to her and she was sold and started running over to them. She LOVED it! We had to ride them 3 times! She would have ridden more but the festival was ending and the horses were going home! Ride em' Sugie, Ride em'! HA!

Pumpkin Patch

I took Sugie to the pumpkin patch at the local nursery. They had some good stuff to look and and she enjoyed running around. It was just me and her so I didn't have any help wrangling her for pictures. She has a strong dislike for pictures just like her father! HA!

Less than thrilled with me and my picture taking!
I will sit here but I don't like it!

Hmmm...a little bitty pumpkin!

Ah ya this is more like it. On the move! Catch me if you can!
Yay I found the end of the maze!
Checkin out the "hay house" She went in once bu would not go back in again!

We stopped for a little coloring!
Sugie called all the pumpkins balls and liked to pat on them.

Silly girl!

He He!

Checking out the pumpkins

She was not sure about the inflatables they had. She just watched intently!
Isn't spidey cute? Sugie would not have anything to do with taking a pic with him. HA!

Maybe I wasn't alone?

What is that Sugie is carrying? Well it is a picture of my sweet old Misty girl. She brings me this picture pretty often telling me "dog", "dog". I just figured she like it because it is a picture of dog and it may very well be. However, the other day as she came down the stairs with it I had a thought.

If you don't remember Misty's death you can read about it here but in a nutshell she died in my arms on the sofa. She was very old but got pretty sick one week. I had taken her to the vet a few times but the vet thought she still had at least a few months to live. Anyway, by the next day she couldn't get up and died in my arms on the sofa within a few hours. I always felt that I was alone when it happened. Trev was close by but had actually gone outside to do a few things when she finally took her last breath. Anyway, as Sugie came down the stairs the other day I thought maybe in some weird way she is connected to that experinece as well since she as the only other person that was there. Now granted she was tiny little fetus at only 16 weeks but maybe they are connected? Anyway, just a thought. Here the picture that Sugie often carries around.
