Swinging with Sugie and Robinhood

The weather has been absolutely awesome in the evenings and we pretty much spend our entire evening outside. So here is a typical Williams' Family evening... Sugie swinging in her swing and daddy shooting his bow.

16 months and packin

Sadly the above picture is the only one that I have from the last week. I have been busy trying to sort all of our stuff into a garage sale pile, pack to stay packed, pack to stay packed in a/c and packed to be unpacked at rent house! HA! Sugie things all the newly added boxes are just more toys! Anyway, I know I say it every month but I really can't beleive that Sugie is 16 months old! Wow! How in the world did that happen? This is what she is up to these days

1) I guess weighs around 24 - 25 pounds, wears 18/24 month clothes and size 4 diapers and size 4 shoe

2) She is getting really good at her sign language which has made meal time much more enjoybable with less fussing.

3) She is starting to repeat words and sounds that you make like outside, Hot, bye, this and a few others that I am too tired to remember

4) Recently she has started taking an interest in finding her eyes, ears, and nose. I have worked with her before and she squinted her eyes at me but today my sitter said that she was doing really good with eyes and I asked her when we got home and she got them 3 out of the 4 times. The other time she pointed to the top of her head! :)

5) She seems to be eating pretty good lately and is really into fruit at the moment. She LOVES Strawberries.

6) She loves Duke and gets his toys and insists that he play with her but after a few "be gentles" he gives up and lays down.

7) She loves being outside and is really loving the nice weather we have been having

8) She loves books. She can even read on her own with a "ba, ba, ba" I so need to get this on video!

9) She really loves her baby sitter Marjorie. Some days I pick her up and she is so happy to see me and wants me to pick her up right away and other days she is too busy playing and crys when I make her leave! She has yet to cry when I have left her.

10) She does not seem to be too shy but will be kindof quiet in a new situation or place but after about 10 minutes she is the life of the party and will climb in anyones lap

11) She gives really good leg hugs now. For no reason out of the blue she will come up and hug your legs!

She is absolutely the sweetest, best thing in the world! We love you Sugar Bear!

Bluebonnets 2010

We went back to our perfect little bluebonnet patch this year. The bluebonnets were more lush last year but we were able snap a few good pics. Speaking of last year....

...can you believe that the sugie was so small! Wow! :)

Me and my Sugie!

Suge was not sure of the tall grass at all!....I tried to get her to look at the camera but soon...

the bluebonnet pics of 2010 came to a close! :) Poor Sugie! Not a fan of the bluebonnets!

Enough pics! See you later I am out of here!

Sunchips Spokesmodel

Sugie loves Sunchips! If she sees you eating them she must have some! She doens't like the boring orginal flavor either but the Garden Salsa flavor that has a little kick. Anyway, we had a little picnic at Trev's deer lease. She could have been running around but instead she dug the sunchips out of the picnic bag and helped herself! I have decided that she should probably be the Sunchips spokesmodel to support her habit! He! He!

Adventures with Sugie

Hey there its me Sugie! My daddy likes to take me on lots of adventures like the one above. This weekend he took me on a canoe ride. It was a little warm and that stupid life jackets is like wearing a straight jacket but I did the best I can. After the canoe ride we got to go over to daddy's deer lease and have a picnic. That was pretty fun too becuase I like to be outside and would live out there but mommy and daddy say I can't. Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Come visit me soon.

I remember exactly 2 years ago like it was yesterday. I started my day as usual with a bunch of 12 year olds in the midst of puberty eager to learn math. Ok the eager to learn math part is a stretch but trust me the "in the midst of puberty" thing is so the truth. Anyway, after a fun filled day at school I went to have a pedicure. Thats the kindof thing you do after getting off work when you have no kids and you figure your husband can fend for himself on dinner. While getting a pedicure I saw a former student who had a baby. Wow! She had a child quite young but frankly I felt quite old. Perhaps the baby was a sign of my evening to come.

On my way home I decided to buy a pregnancy test. When I got home I didn't tell Trev I had bought it becuase I had taken many over the months that had been negative and figured there was no reason for a big fuss. So, hurried into the bathroom hoping he wouldn't walk in on me in midstream trying to aim the stream on a stick. I lay the test down and changed my clothes while it processed and then went back and looked. Yep, I was pregnant. I wasn't quite sure how to feel. I was a bit shocked. I mean we had been trying but it had been several months and I just couldn't believe it was true. I had always thought I would tell Trev in some creative way but I needed reinforcements to tell me it wasn't a dream. So, I went into the office to tell him and then declared that maybe I wasn't fit to be a mom and that maybe I should only be a mom to great danes.

I layed on the bed and soon we were both fillled with excitement. It is weird to think back to that moment when Bailey was a tiny little ball of cells in me and we had never met her because now I can't imagine life without her. Everyone always told me that motherhood is tough and will be a lot harder than you ever imagine. I am not sure I get that all the way. Ya there are some hard days but I honestly say I love every minute of it. Being a mom has been so natural to me.

Anyway, I was just thinking about the signficance of the date today and how lucky I am to be mama. Wow! The last 2 years have been the best!

Easter at the Arboretum

We had a nice day at the Arboretum even though we got a little wet. Sugie had fun running around and we had fun trying to take some pictures of her and laying in the lawn. Here are the million pics. I would write more but as you will see below I just posted a million other blogs and mama's tired!

Easter morning

The bunny made it to our house and Sugie was quite delighted. He brought her a animals sounds book, dresses, some annies cheddar bunnies, a little car and of course the musical bunny. Here aew few pics and a video of her finding her easter bunny treats!

Mom Group Egg Hunt

On Friday I took Bailey to an Easter Egg hunt with a moms group. We were going to have the hunt outside but it ended up raining so we had the hunt inside. It was the first time Bailey got to hunt eggs. She prefered to study them closely and then open them. She would put them in the basket but wasn't moving on to the next one until she learned what was in each one. :) he he! Here are some pics.

Hmmm...what's this?

Jelly Beans! Yummy! Acutally she tried one and immediately spit it out.

Stuff inside...hmmm...

Bear with her easter basket

Studying her egg at the little tykes "big girl" table. She really loved this table. The other moms with babies the same age as B asked me if she could sit at the table and not fall off. I said we were about to find out. I think they thought I was a little crazy!
