Walkin' the halls and $2 dresses!

Ever since Bailey has had this walking thing down she loves to walk up and down the hall. She really loves it when I am in the living room and Trev is in the office. She will seriously do it for like 30 minutes at a time. Usually she will carry a toy with her and "talk" the whole time too! I think it is quite cute! Did you notice her cute little dress? I got it at Wal-mart for $2! Can't beat that! Now if I can just get the BBQ sauce out of it. Did I mention Bailey likes BBQ? I guess I will have to make another post on that one! HA!

Gymnastics meets and straws

The bear made it to her second gymnastics meet to watch her cousin Kelsey. The first time was almost exactly a year ago when she was only a couple months old. I have learned that when she goes to a new, loud busy place she is very quiet and serious. She sat there and intently watched everything and everyone and liked the music. Eventually she got down and played with her cousins. These pics are from my sisters phone. I will have to see if she took anymore with her real camera.

Auntie Mel and Serious Bear

After the meet we went to Pizza Hut where the bear was acting more herself. The newest thing that keeps her entertained at restaurants are straws. She will sit there and tap it on things, dip it in things, and it makes her the happiest little bear! The pics will speak for themselves.

Who's there?

Why it's Sugar Bear! Bailey is definelty a child of the 21st century. She has got the concept of the cell phone down and probably has no idea that some phones are attached to cords or walls for that matter. HA! She loves to bring me the phone and for me to act like I am talking on it and hand it to her. I decided to catch it on video today because I think it is cute and quite frankly I need to get more video of this kid! :)

Movin' on Up!

We have been talking about putting our house on the market since about October and moving to a neighborhood that has more of a community with parks and a pool. If you remember we bought land about a year ago to build our dream home on but now that we have the sugar bear our feelings have changed and we are wanting to move a little closer to Rockwall. Also, we had a harder time keeping up with our lawn and everything this summer. We had tossed around the idea of buying a pre-exisitng home in the neighborhood we have decided on but unless the perfect house came along we felt like we would be moving into a house that we were going to have to change a lot of things to really like it. We did that with this house and it was neat to do with it what we wanted but we really aren't looking to do the same thing. We sort of want to move in and enjoy ourselves not move in and work! HA! So we put our house on the market today and also signed a contigency to build a house. A lot of stuff is still up in the air and they don't start building until you have a contract on your house so we still have a long way to go but we are excited (and a little nervous) all at the same time. Here is the house we put on the market today. It is actually a little bitter sweet. We have loved this house as it as the first house we bought and where we brought Bailey home. We have enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country life but mamas tired of driving and daddys tired of mowin' ha! Not to mention we need more space.
Here was our house when we first moved in 4 years ago. I can hardly remember it looking like that and I must say I think it has come a long way! :)
Here is the house we hope to build! We love everything about it. It has a lot more room than our current house and definelty room to grow incase Bailey has a sister or brother. If you want to see more pics of the model you can visit here. Anyway, hopefully everything will work out and it will be ours. :)

Happy Valentine's Day

We had a relaxing Valentine's Day. I got Bailey this cute little dog that plays "sugar pie hunny pie". She thinks it is quite hilarious. We were busy all day and some how I didn't get her picture taken! ARRGGHHH!! Anyway, I do have a pic from last year! Wow how much she has changed!

Let it snow!

We had a very strange early weekend present of about 8 inches of snow. We woke up on Thursday to the ground covered in snow. It hadn't been snowing long so school wasn't canceled so I made it off to work and got Bailey delivered to the sitters. It was her first day back since being sick and I ended up only working 2 days last week myself. Anyway, it snowed all day and then Friday school was cancelled. We just stayed inside and relaxed and ran a few errands and watched the neighbors play in the snow. At one point they were pulling each other on a knee board behind their 4 wheeler. you might be a redneck if...HA! Anyway, the snow is all pretty much melted now and back to work we go tomorow! :)

Toy of the day

Bailey gets real excited when we get home in the evening and she gets to play with her toys. I have noticed that she will usually pick one toy each evening that she plays with the most. She will move on to other ones but usually comes back to the same one. This week it has been her car. She loves to push it around and get on and off it a million times. She knows how to ride it backwards a bit but prefers to clim on it and off it. I think she looks like a big old toddler in these pics instead of my little baby! :(

Where is my baby?

Wish I wouldn't have chopped her head off in this one. :)

Broccoli Girl

Bailey LOVES broccoli! There is no need to cook it either. Just break it up into smaller pieces and she stuffs it away in her mouth!
